We have been running KidWind courses since 2011 and we over 100 teachers at both primary and secondary level have attended. Courses have also been run in all regions of Ireland, and if you click on the courses below you may see familiar faces.
Our courses were supported from 2011 to 2013 by Wind SkillNet coordinated by Johanna and Deborah at the Irish Wind Energy Association, and we are grateful to them and to our sponsors for their support. We could not have got the word out there only for the help of Mary Mullaghy at the Irish Science Teachers Association and from Paul Nugent of the Institute of Physics Ireland, and all those who attended and passed on the word. A special word also to Liz Casey at Bord Gáis and Brian Linton at Energia for their multiannual support.
