We ran teacher courses from 2011 to 2014 for both primary and secondary teachers. These courses were well received among teachers interested in wind energy. We will continue to run teacher workshops especially when linked to the ISTA or IoP Ireland conferences, and especially to help teachers integrate wind energy and renewable energy into the new Junior Certificate and Transition Year courses. We will be running a workshop at the Institute of Physics Ireland teachers conference in September and any other workshops we will be publicising on our Twitter feed.
